Secret Garden First Birthday Party
My third baby just turned one so it was time to throw her first birthday party! I had a really hard time coming up with a theme for this one but ended up deciding on Secret Garden! We have this cute little pathway we made in our flower bed in our backyard that the kids like to call their Secret Garden and incorporating that into a party was so much fun! We decorated with Flowers, butterflies and fairies and it might be the prettiest party I have ever done!
I added the links to all the decor I used and our outfits here for you! The arch backdrops are awesome because they come apart for easy storage! They are actually gold poles with pink and white covers on them so you can easily switch out the covers to use different colors for a different party theme! The kids picnic table my husband made and I bought all of the pillows on Amazon! I buy different pillow cases for different party themes as well. Things like this can be an investment upfront but I personally think it’s worth it! Especially if you are like me and you throw 3+ kids parties every year! I won't lie to you and say that these massive parties are cheap because they aren’t but I will say that by DIYing the entire party we save SO much money compared to if we hired vendors to do all of this. If you’re working on a tight budget then there is still so much from this party that you could incorporate into yours! I hope seeing this party helps inspire you and spark some ideas for your own but please know that you don’t need to throw an expensive party for it to be fun and beautiful!
