Gift Ideas For Little Boys

I’ve always found it so much harder to shop for my son than it was my daughter! Maybe it’s because I’ve always been a girlie girl but I personally think that there are so many more fun gifts to buy for girls! If you’re having a hard time shopping for your little boy then hopefully this gift guide will help you! This blog post is full of ideas for little boys that is filled with toys that my son actually owns and loves! A lot of these are actually gender neutral toys that my daughter loves as well! If you’re looking for gifts for little girls make sure to check out my little girls gift guide too!

I always work so hard to find presents that will make Christmas morning exciting for the kids but also something they will still enjoy weeks, months and even years later! If you’re anything like me the amount of options of toys and things out there that can be purchased can feel so overwhelming! When I shop for something for my family I typically spend hours researching, reading reviews and trying to pick the best option. So here you can shop all my picks of what I actually bought my little boy! These are some of his favorite things and I would bet they will be your little boys too!

They say play is a Childs work and pretend play is so good for learning! These are a few of our favorite pretend play toys!

  1. Play Kitchen - We have had this kitchen for over 4 years and it’s held up amazing to all the rough play! There are a lot of cabinets for storage so it will store all of the accessories and food!

  3. Melissa & Doug Pizza Set - This is one of my kids favorite toys! They love to make Pizza and add different toppings to it based on what people order. It’s so fun to see them get creative!

  8. Wooden Grocery Stand- We don’t have this one but if we had the space for it we would! It’s so cute and perfect for pretend play!

  1. Little Tikes Interactive Suitcase - This was Lincoln’s Santa gift last year! His big sister asked for a princess pretend suitcase which was easy to find but a boy version was not!! He always wants everything his sister has so I knew we were gong to need one for him. It’s so cute to see the two of them pretending to go on vacation with their suitcases. This one is really cool because it is interactive and has some awesome learning resources.

I love that the covers are removable and machine washable because we have had lot’s of spills and accidents in them! they are also really lightweight so we often move them to the living room for family movie night.

  3. Jellycat Monkey- These Jellycat stuffed animals are so soft and cute! They have so many cute animals but the monkey is one of Lincoln’s favorites.

  7. Wooden Firehouse- This is hands down Lincoln’s favorite toy!! It’s small enough that it won’t take over a room and it closes up to be even smaller! It comes with furniture and people and is the perfect little playlet for boys! Lincoln was always stealing his sisters dollhouses to play with his animals and superheroes and now that he has his own he has so much more fun! We keep it in his room and he will put his toys to bed in it at night and play with it again first thing in the morning. We got this for him for Christmas last year when he was 2 and his reaction on Christmas morning was PRICELESS! It was a surprise gift that we were crossing our fingers he would like and it was absolutely perfect!
