DIY Family Matching Jean Jackets

Jean Jackets with cute patches on them are all the rage these days but why are they soooo expensive? To get one for each of my family members would cost a small fortune! So I decided to make my own! And it turns out, not only did I save a ton of money, but it was also SUPER easy!!

So if you’re like me and want some cute matching outfits without breaking the bank, try this DIY for yourself!

You’re going to need to get a Jean jacket for each family member. I already had these ones on hand however if you’re not so lucky, here are a few options you can look into!

You’re also going to need Iron-on patches with enough of each letter you need. These patches from Amazon are affordable and come with a lot in one package!

Once you have your patches and Jackets you’ll need to decide where to place them on the jacket. I chose to put ours in the middle so it was easy to read without our hair covering the letters. Line up the patches exactly where you want them, cover them with parchment paper and then press an iron on top. You’ll need to hold the iron there for a few seconds until it seals the patches in place.

Once the patches have been ironed on, your jackets are ready to wear!
